Justin Brynestad joined Xcimer in the all-new role of Senior Vice President, Vulcan.

His job? Define, plan, and deliver a billion-dollar engineering program (Vulcan) from concept through completion, overseeing cross-functional teams to ensure budget adherence and timely execution.

Before Xcimer, Justin was Vice President at Blue Origin, leading development and production of New Shepard – a reusable rocket system designed to take astronauts and research payloads past the Kármán line, the internationally recognized boundary of space. He has held multiple engineering leadership roles in the aerospace industry and has been instrumental in the growth of both established and start-up organizations in North America, Europe and Asia.

Justin is a licensed professional engineer (PE) and the chair of the Mechanical Engineering External Advisory Board at his alma mater, the University of Washington, where he’s a frequent guest lecturer.
